Malaysia national badminton player Lee Zii Jia submitted his resignation from the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) on January 11. After the discussion among the members in BAM, BAM has made a decision and announcement on Lee Zii Jia having a 2-year ban from joining any Badminton World Federation sanctioned tournaments starting from January 18 on January 21.  This incident involved Lee Zii Jia who is the rising star for Malaysia’s badminton career therefore it has gained lots of the public’s attention in this incident. The subject 'History' is a significant medium or channel for shaping the national consciousness and consolidating national unity for a country. However, the content of the history textbooks in our country has not reflected the facts of the history which is inaccurate with the factual error and half-truths found, and the appearance of the contributions of all ethnic groups to the country in the history textbooks seem to be biased and lopsided.
